In Iraq and Afghanistan, the Chinese are buying up mineral wealth, such as oil, iron ore, copper ore, etc. In some cases, American fighting men are guarding the roads in and out of the mines from the Taliban so that the Chinese can get their ore out to ship it to their smelters.
Likewise, the oil fields in Iraq are increasingly being operated by Chinese and the crude oil is going into Chinese hands.
We have sent our men and women into harm’s way in Iraq and Afghanistan, and in the end the Chinese reap the material benefits.
Throughout Latin America, China is loaning money to the governments and investing in mineral wealth there as well. It is no coincidence that the nations of Latin America are voting in communist leaders one after the other. As you look at the pattern, China is surrounding the United States by its activities in the southern half of the Western Hemisphere. Of course, Russia is part of this process as well, selling weapons to Latin American countries.

These countries will be hard-pressed not to listen to China relative to their foreign policy. This influence will have sway on the votes by these countries on various boards, commissions, and courts within the TPP.
How does one form a partnership with a socialist country like China without losing some of our free-enterprise economy? It can’t be done without seriously undermining the free-enterprise system and the freedom of the non-socialist partner. In addition, they use the U.S. dollars from selling us cheap goods to come back into our country to buy real property, thereby having increased influence on local, state, and ultimately the federal governments. Finally, many aspects of the so-called trade agreements place international controls on sectors that have no relationship to trade. All these things have an effect on our social, economic, and governmental systems.
There have been ongoing negotiations with the Chinese government to open up the investment market between the United States and China. There is a very important aspect of this investment that must always be considered: the American investments will be private and will have only a
